We take on the following responsibilities to ensure its smooth operation:

1. Buy and maintain the cargo scanners
2. Invest in the infrastructure and supporting utilities
3. Set up, operate and maintain the scanners for the length of the Concession period
4. Recruit, employ and train all local operations staff
5. Assist in the recruitment of Image Interpreters
6. Train and mentor Image Interpreters
7. Provide a selectivity and risk assessment software package to assist in the selection of containers and trucks for scanning
8. Integrate the scanners with Customs processes and offer integration support to government officials
9. Train local officials to take over the management of the project at the end of the Concession period
10. Transfer (free of charge) the scanners and the operation to the government at the end of the Concession period
